Raise Your Voice on Health Care Reform: Get on the Bus and Join SisterSong on National Advocacy

Join SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Justice Health Collective and our allies for a rally/press conference and lobby day on Capitol Hill countering the Stupak-Pitts Amendment to the Affordable Health Care for America Act (HR 3962) from being repeated in the Senate version.

We want health care to to be accessible, affordable, that does not discriminate, and includes everybody! It's important that the voices of women of color and Indigenous women be heard in this debate.

We will pay for the bus, a double occupancy hotel room, and provide meals on the bus. Activists from Louisiana and Arkansas will be flown to Washington, DC to meet us.

TO RESERVE YOUR SPACE: RSVP to Heidi Williamson,
heidi@sistersong.net or 404-756-2680 by 12 pm EST, November 30, 2009. Please include phone number and email.

For press inquiries, please contact Serena Garcia, serena@sistersong.net or 404-756-2680.

SisterSong needs your support to make this work happen. If you would like to make a donation to support this effort please donate here.
